March WIPacolypse

It's been a full two years since I have updated this blog.  Life has taken over and I got busy with life.  But good news, I'M BACK!!!
I will be participating in the WIPacolypse SAL again this year.  Since this is my first posting in awhile, I thought I would include pictures of all the pieces I am working on.

These first two pieces I am featuring are offically UFO's, and I will not be working on them between now and the April posting.  However, I have worked on them since I last posted here and thought you might like to see the progress that has been made.

The Castle By Teresa Wentzler

Santa's Hat By Mill Hill

I am working on an afghan for a new baby in our family.  I find this project is coming along quicker the further I get into the project.

Precious Moments Alphabet Afghan

I have A thru L completely done.  I am currently working on M.
My goal for the April WIPacolypse posting is to have M-P completely finished.

If you would like to see more progress on these projects checkout and like my Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/firecrakrprojects

Happy Stitching,

  2. Hi Laura,
Lovely work on "The Castle". I have that one in my stash to start someday. Thanks for commenting on my blog. I would have liked to e-mail you but you're set to no-reply. So I'll have to answer you here. You ask me about the blue magnets I use. There called "Handy Magnets", I saw them years ago used on a tv series called "Shay Pendrey's Needle Art Studio". I checked out the webpage on the box but they (the webpage) no longer exists. From what I can tell they are regular sized craft magnets that have been coated with a blue enamel spray paint. Oh and there's just a piece of white cardboard under the chart to keep the fabric from getting dirty. Hope that helps.
